The quality award is one of eight Awards of Excellence in Metalforming, presented annually by Precision Metalforming Association (PMA). Sponsored by Parkview Metal Products, Lake Zurich, IL, the award recognizes outstanding achievement by Trans-Matic in the development of a quality assurance program to ensure continuous improvement of its products and customer service.

New Product Development Award
Trans-Matic won a New Product Development award from one of our major customers by incorporating 5 components into 2 precision deep drawn components. Trans-Matic now provides these components as a one piece assembly. We were able to reduce the number of components by 35%, lower the cost 45%, and improve product performance and overall quality.
VE Contribution Award
Trans-Matic won a VE Contribution award from the same major customer by utilizing cross-functional teamwork. This significantly impacted their business; helping them improve the products they sell and reducing their costs.
