The original Drive-In Casing was a two piece assembly. One of the pieces was plastic and was held together by a die-cast metal holder. The plastic and die-cast components resulted in durability issues and negative perception from the use of plastic. Also, assembly was time consuming and costly. We created a single metal stamping of the two part assembly. In addition we added specific features that improved the fit of the Casing to the housing, improving installation.
