Trans-Matic electrical metal stamping and precision deep drawn metal stampings are world class. We utilize our capabilities to produce electrical metal stampings to serve the automotive industry in braking, oxygen sensor, fuel delivery, air bag, bayonet socket, and sensor markets. Our non-automotive electrical metal stampings capabilities serve the lock hardware, compressor, appliance, fire prevention, pharmaceutical, HVAC, and plumbing markets.
Producing electrical metal stampings is a complex process ...
Trans-Matic is committed to providing our customers with electrical metal stamping and deep drawn metal stampings that exceed their expectations. We strive to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our quality management system. We are committed to following our policies, procedures, and our customers’ specifications to achieve business performance improvements and to create the highest quality electrical metal stampings. We achieve our quality policy commitments through setting and attaining our Quality Objectives by monitoring parts per million calculations, scrap, sorting costs, and customer concerns to avoid negative trends in quality, continually striving to achieve 100% on-time delivery, and monitoring cost to maintain profitability. Trans-Matic's electrical metal stamping products are certified ISO/TS 16949.
The raw materials used at Trans-Matic in our electrical metal stampings include low carbon cold rolled steels (1006 to 1050), pre-coated steels, stainless steels (300 & 400 series), Inconnel, brass, bronze, copper, and aluminum (1100, 3003, & 5052).
Trans-Matic has perfected the ability to engineer both coarse and fine threading, wall ironing, multiple side piercing, knurling, embossing, rectangular shapes, coining and marking, extruding and many other required electrical metal stamping part features in our transfer presses. These electrical metal stamping and deep drawn metal stampings capabilities eliminate the need for costly secondary operations.
Following the development and production of a custom electrical metal stamping component, Trans-Matic has the ability to perform numerous value added options for our customers. Our electrical metal
stamping options include threading (rolled or cut), crimping, boring, welding, and fully automated assembly work cells. Trans-Matic utilizes our lean logistic stream to leverage our local supplier partnerships to support us with the following metal stamping part finishing options: aqueous parts cleaning, ultrasonic part cleaning, passivation, vibratory deburring, part on part tumbling, machining, zinc and phosphate plating (including HEX free), E coating, black oxide, autophoretic, copper plating, annealing and heat treating.
In addition to producing high quality electrical metal stampings, Trans-Matic is also committed to protecting the environment by striving to continually improve our processes to minimize waste and pollution, while striving to comply with all relevant environmental regulations and other requirements. Trans-Matic is certified ISO 14001 electrical metal stamping manufacturer.
Trans-Matic's large press metal stampings capability begins with several Waterbury Farrel presses in the 105 ton (95 tonne) to 300 ton (272 tonne) size. Our die set transfer press capabilities begin with 400 ton (363 tonne) Aida and Minster presses and go up to 600 tons (544 tonne). Trans-Matic's large eyelet press and die set transfer press technology provides the deep drawn and electrical metal stampings capabilities to an overall length of 7” (177mm) and to accommodate raw material thickness up to .150” (3.81mm).
Trans-Matic electrical metal stamping company uses small eyelet and ICOP press technology that provides the capability to draw components with a raw material thickness starting at .005” (0.127mm). Trans-Matic electrical metal stampings capabilities include Waterbury Farrel, US Baird, and Platarg presses starting at 5 tons (4.5 tonne) increasing to 75 tons (68 tonne). We have duplicate electrical metal stamping manufacturing capabilities at each of our production centers.
